In the beginning, Park City was a rough and tumble silver mining boom town. The mines came and went but a raucous bunch of folks stayed on to ski and carouse. From those rowdy beginnings sprang bodacious boutiques and artsy stuff. Seriously good restaurants and a string of spirited watering holes. Come to think of it, Historic Park City today is still a lot like it was back in the 1890’s – only now with cushier lodgings and much better coffee.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON RIDE BRINGS HOGS TO HISTORIC PARK CITY

 

WHAT:              The Park City Harley-Davidson is sponsoring a charity ride through Parley’s Canyon, which begins at the Salt Lake Harley-Davidson and ends on Park City’s upper Main Street. The ride will be escorted by the Park City Police Motorsquad and conclude at the Wasatch Brew Pub parking lot. Locals and visitors are encouraged to stroll Main Street and view the parade of hogs, choppers and bikes that will be on display from 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. on Main Street and around the Wasatch Brew Pub parking lot. The event is free to spectate, and families and children are welcome to spend the afternoon browsing the bikes along Main Street.
