In the beginning, Park City was a rough and tumble silver mining boom town. The mines came and went but a raucous bunch of folks stayed on to ski and carouse. From those rowdy beginnings sprang bodacious boutiques and artsy stuff. Seriously good restaurants and a string of spirited watering holes. Come to think of it, Historic Park City today is still a lot like it was back in the 1890’s – only now with cushier lodgings and much better coffee.

Mountain Trails Gallery Overview

Mountain Trails Gallery in Park City began in November of 1999 by renowned sculptor Vic Payne. This was the third gallery opened after the Santa Fe, New Mexico and Jackson, Wyoming locations. The gallery is situated in one of Park City's most historic buildings. Once a silver miner's bank; the original tin ceiling, brick walls and vault still exist. In June of 2004, Vic sold the Gallery to his longtime friend and manager, Adam Warner.
