In the beginning, Park City was a rough and tumble silver mining boom town. The mines came and went but a raucous bunch of folks stayed on to ski and carouse. From those rowdy beginnings sprang bodacious boutiques and artsy stuff. Seriously good restaurants and a string of spirited watering holes. Come to think of it, Historic Park City today is still a lot like it was back in the 1890’s – only now with cushier lodgings and much better coffee.

Thriller Snow Dance at Town Lift Plaza

Park City Mountain Resort will once again host the Thriller Snow Dance for the third consecutive year on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Town Lift Plaza, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This year, Park City Mountain Resort will collaborate with Thrill the World, a worldwide collaborative effort to dance "Thriller" while raising funds for local charitable organizations.

Participants are encouraged to don zombie and/or winter attire including ski or snowboard boots, to thrill the world and dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller!" This event is free and appropriate for zombies of all ages.

The following is a schedule of events for Thriler Snow Dance on Sat. Oct. 29:
5:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Thriller Dance Workshop
5:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Face Painting
8:00 p.m. – Official Thriller Snow Dance
