In the beginning, Park City was a rough and tumble silver mining boom town. The mines came and went but a raucous bunch of folks stayed on to ski and carouse. From those rowdy beginnings sprang bodacious boutiques and artsy stuff. Seriously good restaurants and a string of spirited watering holes. Come to think of it, Historic Park City today is still a lot like it was back in the 1890’s – only now with cushier lodgings and much better coffee.

Annual Santa Pub Crawl

In what has become a highly anticipated tradition, the Santa Pub Crawl will bring some holiday cheer and revelry to several Historic Park City's watering holes on Saturday, December 10. Dozens of ladies and gents will take to the bars in an array of holiday-themed gear. Past costumes have included Ski Bum Santa, Cowboy Santa, Sexy Mrs. Claus, Traditional Santa, Reindeer and Santa's Helpers. The crawl is open to all in some form of Santa dress, but you must be 21 to enter several of the establishments included on the line-up.

The bar crawl kicks off at 8 p.m. at High West Distillery and continues across the street at Butcher's Chop House & Bar at 9 p.m. From there the schedule is as follows:

10 p.m. - No Name Saloon

11 p.m. - Flanagan's

Midnight - The Spur Bar & Grill

There will be no cover charge for those in Santa costumes at The Spur where The Sideshow Ramblers will be performing that night.

With the number of participants growing each year, the Santa Pub Crawl is a true Main Street spectacle, especially when the Santas hop on the free Main Street Trolley. This is a great way to get in the holiday spirit, meet new people and experience the best of Park City's nightlife.
