In the beginning, Park City was a rough and tumble silver mining boom town. The mines came and went but a raucous bunch of folks stayed on to ski and carouse. From those rowdy beginnings sprang bodacious boutiques and artsy stuff. Seriously good restaurants and a string of spirited watering holes. Come to think of it, Historic Park City today is still a lot like it was back in the 1890’s – only now with cushier lodgings and much better coffee.

May. 2011: Town Lift Summer Operations

Lift-served access is available directly from Park City's historic Main Street via the Town Lift operated by Park City Mountain Resort.  On the mountain you’ll find incredible hikes and enjoy the views of Historic Park City from above. The Town Lift begins summer operation on June 10th.  Cost for a single ride is $11, or $20 for an all day pass.  If you were luck enough to have a full winter season pass, you ride for free.
